Sérgio F. Lopes

 

I'm Assistant Professor on the Industrial Electronics Department of the University of Minho (UM). My research activities are integrated in the Embedded Systems Research Group (ESRG), one of the groups of the Algoritmi center of UM.

 

My professional interests include software modelling and reuse, software architecture (architectural patterns) and design (design-patterns), and object-oriented programming. Currently, I work specifically with UML for framework modeling and description.

 

I live in Guimarães, the city where Portugal was born and whose historic centre has been classified as World Heritage by UNESCO.
